Many of you have been clamoring for photos from the big event (Kate turned one this past week), but I'm going to make you wait a bit longer for those photos. You can blame her Papa who took so many fabulous photos that it's going to take me a while to go through them. So, in the meantime thought I would share some pictures from our fun Labor Day Weekend trip to Dallas. Friends Greg and Mary Reid Tevis invited us up for the weekend and our little ones finally got a chance to meet. They have a precious boy, Pierce, who is a month younger than Kate.

Who would have thought these two would one day be Dads! Thanks Tevis family for a fun weekend.
Back at home, Kate got her first balloon and had so much fun playing with it. I just loved watching her be so joyful about something so seemingly simple. We should all take a lesson from our kiddos!
