Announcing...Our Newest Addition

We've wanted to start a blog about our San Francisco adventures and after three years, it has taken an adventure of a different sort to finally get it started. From the pictures below it's not much of a secret what our first blog adventure is all about. Baby Brown is about 12 1/2 weeks in the photos below and we think he/she is the cutest baby ever! Yes, we are already those obnoxious parents. These pictures were taken March 12th.

Seeing our baby on the screen for the first time was an amazing experience. The thing that blew me away was how clear and how 'baby-like' the images were. I was expecting grainy blobbish pictures like I have seen in the past and this just LOOKED like a baby. Unbelievable.

Not sure what that big black spot is in the baby's head. Hopefully that's not some vacant hole where the brain should be!

Here the baby is with its arms up around its face. Looks like the baby is rubbing its eyes to me.

In this picture you can see the heartbeat. At 150 beats per minute our baby's heart is racing! Although the nurse assured me this is the normal rate.

This is one of my favorite pictures. What a cute button nose.

The baby is due September 14th and it seems like that date is right around the corner. Other frequently asked question:

I am feeling great. I didn't have much naseau the first trimester and was mostly just tired a lot of the time.

Yes, we are going to find out the sex of the baby but we have to wait until our ultraound on April 19th for that news.

No weird cravings yet, just a serious sweet tooth which seems to be most satisfied with ice cream but really any dessert will do! The baby demanded a banana split last week and boy was it yummy! Which leads to the last FAQ...

Stephen has been super supportive and is working on gaining his sympathy baby weight.
