Since it seems I may never get our Argentina pictures posted, I figured I'd move on to something more current and less daunting than culling down 300 pictures into a single blog post. Last weekend we did an amazing hike in Point Reyes. For those of you not familiar with Point Reyes, it is a National Park about an hour and a half north of San Francisco with some of the most amazing coastlines. If you have come to visit us we might have taken you to one of our favorite places in the Bay Area - Tomales Bay for a picnic of oysters. This is the same area.
We started our hike at the Bear Vally Trail head and hiked about 4.5 miles to the coast. Thankfully it was a mostly flat hike and the weather couldn't have been better.
Our reward at the end was Arch Rock jutting out into the Pacific Ocean. Resting our weary feet (or at least my weary feet!) we ate our picnic overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery around. Can't beat this view!
Family photo op below. Yes, Tater Tot loved the hike but she was disappointed that we didn't see any seals or seal lions on the beach below. Or maybe that was her daddy that was disappointed.
For those of you who have been clamoring for a 'bump' picture or claim that I don't look pregnant. Here is your evidence. Taken this morning Tater Tot is 27 weeks and 6 days big! And is VERY active. Sometimes I'm convinced I have an octopus in my belly!
