Shrimpfest, Showers and Swaddling

Stephen and I took our last official trip in early July for our annual Shrimpfest trip to friends Kalley and Paul's beachhouse in St. Augustine, Florida. It was five days of sun, shrimp, and pure relaxation. After freezing in the San Francisco 'summer' I was a little worried about completely melting in the Florida heat. Thankfully hurricane Alex cooled things off and we had marvelous weather.

Even though I couldn't enjoy in the nightly happy hours, I did manage to indulge in other ways. This baby sure likes her ice cream!

From Florida, Stephen flew back to SF and I flew to Austin. While home, I got to see friends Stephanie Land and Stephanie Lucke and their new babies. Trying to get as many tips as possible along the way! Special friends also hosted a fabulous baby shower for me at the beautiful home of Cydney Shepard. Thanks to Angela, Jana, Stephanie, Cydney and Kay for a special afternoon.

Tater Tot has been growing a lot. Here's the latest 'bump' picture taken at 32 1/2 weeks. Can't believe we are almost 7 weeks from her due date! We took a newborn care class this last week and Stephen is now a pro at swaddling. I'm also counting down the days until my maternity leave officially starts - August 16th!
