During naptime, Kate decided she didn't need to wear any clothes so I took the opportunity for a little photo shoot. Bear with me because I just loved all these pictures.
Part of the reason the blog has been on hiatus is that we FINALLY bought a house. After a mere nine months of searching we have a place of our own. We are in the process of getting settled and can't wait for visitors.
I blogged about Kate's passion for shoes in a previous post, but it has now become an obsession. She loves ladies flats...

and even does a good job walking in wedges.

One Sunday in May, we traveled to Eagle Lake to see cousin Cody's first communion. I guess Cody was too busy playing for me to get a picture, but here's Kate hanging out with cousin Skylar.
Now that she can climb on furniture, I often find her reading in her room.
She also likes to stay current on her magazines and enjoys reading them poolside with Daddy.

Kate has also discovered a love of chips. At any party you can usually find her hanging out around the food table. Here she is at friend Kaki's 2nd birthday party. Looks like both girls are doing a pretty good job at cramming in as many chips as possible.
