Meeting Santa

Kate went to visit Santa today.  We had some bets going on whether she would scream, but as our turn approached, Kate was very calm and watchful of all that was going on.  Dad did a great job reassuring her that Santa's not as scary as he might seem.  

Kate gets a little introduction to the Big Man with the white beard.  Not screaming yet so we held our breath. 

At first she wasn't sure what to think and just looked a bit confused. 

After a few pokes at her belly we coaxed a few smiles out of her. 

Or maybe she was just laughing at Daddy being very silly!

All in all it was a very successful trip.  No meltdowns and only about a 20 minute wait.  We even treated ourselves to Chic-fil-a afterwards.  Yum!

There were some technical difficulties with the Thanksgiving pictures so I will post those as soon as a new CD arrives from Atlanta.  Apparently it was going to take 14 days to burn all the pictures that Papa took during the week we were in Atlanta.  I sure hope he does some editing!!!
